Kraków's tram network, operated by MPK Kraków, is one of the largest tram systems in Poland, serving the historic city and its surrounding districts.
The story of
Trams have run in Kraków since 1882, originally horse-drawn before electrification in 1901. The network is operated today by Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacyjne (MPK) Kraków under the coordination of the Zarząd Transportu Publicznego (ZTP), and remains a core part of the city's public transport alongside its bus network.
