The Kansas City Streetcar Authority (KCSA) operates KC Streetcar, connecting the Riverfront and River Market with downtown Kansas City, the Plaza and UMKC.
The story of
KC Streetcar opened in 2016 between River Market and Union Station. The Main Street extension reached UMKC in 2025, followed by the Riverfront extension in 2026. KCSA is an independent organization and a RideKC partner.
