Gdańsk's tram network, operated by Zarząd Transportu Miejskiego (ZTM) Gdańsk, complements the city's bus network across the Tricity area.
The story of
Trams have run in Gdańsk since 1873, originally horse-drawn, with electrification completed by 1896. The network was substantially rebuilt after WWII damage and has continued expanding through the 2000s and 2010s, including new lines to Chełm and Piecki-Migowo.
