Ceske drahy (CD) is Czechia's national rail operator, running Ex/R Intercity, Pendolino tilting-train, and regional (S/Sp) services across the country from a Prague-centered network.
The story of
Ceske drahy was formed in 1993 when Czechoslovak State Railways split following the dissolution of Czechoslovakia. It operates the great majority of Czechia's national and regional passenger rail, from Pendolino tilting trains on trunk corridors to dense S-Bahn-style suburban services around Prague, Brno, and Ostrava.
