Do you show freight trains?

Yes. Enable Freight trains in the world map filters to see estimates based on recent user and calibrated camera sightings. Camera sightings whose train type is still unknown are labeled unconfirmed.

After a sighting supplies a location, direction and estimated speed, we predict the train's movement along OpenStreetMap railway tracks at constant speed for up to three hours. A new sighting updates the estimate. Trains disappear when the three-hour window expires.

These are estimates, not live GPS positions. Stops, junction choices, missing railway data and uncertain speed affect accuracy. Some camera sightings use an assumed speed of 40 km/h. Cameras without a geographic direction mapping do not generate moving predictions.
