Snälltåget (literally 'the fast train') is a Swedish open-access train operator owned by Transdev. It runs intercity services between Stockholm and Malmö, as well as seasonal overnight trains to ski resorts in the Swedish mountains and summer services to Berlin via Denmark. Snälltåget positions itself as a more affordable alternative to SJ on popular intercity routes, and has carved out a niche particularly with its night train services that connect northern and southern Sweden.
